Guidelines for May 26th Reopening (Stage 3 Back on Track Indiana Plan)

  • All SCAC Fitness staff members will be required to take their temperature when arriving for work and record it. A temperature of 100 or more will result in the employee being sent home.
  • All SCAC Fitness staff members will be required to wear face coverings at all times.
  • Increased cleaning procedures will be in place, including twice daily fogging of all facility areas during our mid-day closure (2-3pm) and again at end of business day with EPA registered broad spectrum disinfectant.
  • All SCAC Fitness members will be required to have their temperature taken at the door upon entry. A temperature of 100 or more will result in the member being asked to leave.
  • All SCAC Fitness members will be asked to clean their hands upon entry at our sanitation station or wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • All doors will be propped open, when possible, to lessen contact points as well as provide the maximum amount of air flow.
  • No towel service, lockers, showers, hot tubs or saunas, will be available at this time. We ask you bring your own towel until further notice. Please have patience with us during this time as these restrictions are temporary and once we are able, in accordance with all national, state, and local agencies, these restrictions will lift.
  • Water fountains are not available at this time with the exception of the hands free bottle filler. We ask that you bring your own water bottle until further notice.
  • Some equipment may be unavailable at this time as to allow for social distancing guidelines.
  • We ask that members wipe down all equipment PRIOR to and AFTER each workout in order to ensure that all equipment is thoroughly sanitized. You may find gym wipes and spray bottles with cleaner at our sanitation stations located throughout the gym.
  • We ask that members refrain from circuit type training in which they would leave several machines unclean between uses. If this type of training is to occur, we ask that each member thoroughly wipe down each piece of equipment before they circuit to the next, in the chance that a member may use their equipment while they are away and prior to sanitation.
  • Racquetball and Basketball courts will be restricted to 2 individuals at a time.
  • No guests will be permitted. Current members only.
  • Youth must be at least 13 years old to be in the facility.
  • 24 Hour only memberships will have full access to our main location until we are able to open our 24 hour location.
  • Members must follow social distancing practices while in the building.
  • Our pool will not be open this season.
  • Group Fitness classes will remain virtual until June 14th. At that time, we will address Group Fitness restrictions. Please follow us on our Facebook Page for daily workouts as well as our Zoom Workouts. If you have not received an email with Zoom login please email our message us on Facebook.
  • Kids’ Club will remain closed until at least June 14th. At that time, we will address additional Kids’ Club restrictions.
  • Personal training is restricted to no more than 2 individuals per training session and must be scheduled in advance in order to allow for adequate cleaning times between training sessions. Please contact your trainer.
