Personal Trainers and Floor Coaches

 

Dave Minnich graduated from Ball State University with an Exercise Science B.S. degree. He played college division I baseball.  He interned with South Bend Memorial Hospital and Lifestyle Center where he focused on cardiac rehabilitation and general exercise prescription.  In 1989, he started working at SCAC as an exercise specialist.  He has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry with clients of all ages.

Andrea Lee has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from IUPUI.   Andrea has been with SCAC since 2005.  While working on her degree she interned with Hoffacker Health & Fitness, where she had the opportunity to work with professional athletes.  She has been personal training since 2003.  Her clients have included children through the elderly, the morbidly obese population & pregnant women.  Andrea has also been a group exercise instructor since 2001 and has taught many different classes.

Debbie Broughton has been a member for many years.  In 2007 she began working with a personal trainer and saw all the benefits.  In May of 2008 she placed in a figure competition and decided to help others make fitness a part of their lives by becoming a trainer.  Debbie has completed her SCAC certification.

Lee Anne Pruitt has been a member and has worked out at SCAC for many years.  She has trained and competed in several half marathons.  Lee Anne finds a life style of exercise to be essential for a healthy life and would like to help others to do the same.
Amy Scott has a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science from IU and received her personal training certification in 2011.  She has worked as an aerobics instructor at SCAC for over ten years.  She is looking forward to helping clients meet their goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
 

Blair Woodall has taught karate to adults, teens and children since 2002.  She holds a second degree black belt.  She is also SCAC’s on-site Wellness Coach.  Her degree in Health and Wellness will be completed in 2012.  Blair has completed her SCAC certification. 

 

 

 

 

Scarlett Tinsley has been a member since 2006.   She is a Pilates Instructor and Yoga certified – Yoga Teacher 200Ryt (Yoga Alliance).  Scarlett currently teaches Yoga, Pilates, Piloga and Adult Stretch.  She is currently working on her personal training certification and is CPR certified.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carolyn has been with the club since July 2011.  She has a background as a ladies fitness coach and is CPR certified.  She is a floor coach and teaches Silver Sneakers fitness classes.  She is available throughout the week in our Women’s Fitness room.  Carolyn enjoys working with people and helping members be successful in their quest for improved personal health.

 

 

 

 

Craig Cassidy has been a member for 8 years.  Craig has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a minor in coaching.  He was an assistant men’s college basketball coach at McKendree University.  Craig is a Level 1 trainer at SCAC.  He strives to get people where they want to be in their overall fitness goals and looks forward to working with SCAC members.
